<div class="IPBDescription">It actually exists!!!</div> I was foolin around with web sites and typing in random addressed (including www.double-u.com) I was surprised to find www.onos.com actually EXISTS!!
Mind you it's not exactly what you'd expect but it does have relevance... click here to see how an Onos views a Heavy surrounded by little LAs:

    btw, Onos is NOT a real english word. I think it either comes from "oh no" (yeah) or resembles some mongolian word for "help us" or something.     First of, onos propably comes from a japanese word, oni. Oni is a word for demon or devil. I've came to this conclusion, because the japanese were the first to encounter kharaa in the ns world. (Kharaa = beware in japanese)

    If read the manual thingy it says that the Onos was named "Onos" b/c when the marines first saw the huge monstrosity all they could say was "oh no..."

    I will command a herd of Oni as well as a herd of Onoses on the throat of the next person that deems it necessary to derail this further into yet another plural discussion. Call it however you want, we just don't care anymore by this point.

    I've always hated the whole Oni vs. Onoses vs. Onos vs. what-the-f'ever arguement, too.


    The plural of Onos is obviously Ono.
