Question to offical ns mappers..

Any chance you'll release the final versions of your maps for DL soon? I'm getting quite bored and I'd like to explore the maps in the mean time. Monse's already doing the Map a Day thing. Maybe he can also do a "Download a Map a Day" type thing, for all of us bored, NSTR2 owning community members. I could see plenty of reasons why you wouldn' want to release them until the game is released, and only a few reasons why you would, and it's probally all Flayra's choice anyway..but I just figured I'd give it a try.

I really doubt that the maps will be relesed before NS.  I am sure that they will come with NS and only with NS.

Despite this, slightly older versions would be cool to have a run-around in.  But I still don't think those will be released.

arg can't think of the url at the moment but Chrom angel's Ns world (that it?) site has a few maps for download.

Guys, let the mappers talk rather than attacking jedisar...... Im with him.... We are all pretty bored and excited so a peak at the official maps on the nstr should be nice =)

I agree that would be cool, but id prefere to see them on the day i download NS, adds to the excitement or something.
Oh and chances are that the final versions of the maps wouldnt work with the old NSTR2 cos of the code/fdg changes.

That won't matter.  I can run TFC maps in NSTR2 so why not NS?

Sadly only 5 maps available for download at the momment, none of which are official.  You'll just have to wait for the release to look around the offical maps.

No, but the topic did say "Official" and none of those maps are official.

You will not be able to download official maps until the NS release. That's just the way it is - don't bother asking the official mappers as they already know not to give them to you.
