<div class="IPBDescription">Who would be interested in it?</div>I was reading bash.org and thinking about how they never put up some of the really good stuff that I know got submitted to em from peeps of #ns, so I've been thinking lately. Would anybody be interested in a bash.org style site for the NS community?

I'll donate my time to code the PHP required & database and whatnot. If somebody is willing to host it, maybe somene else to buy a domain, and then a few peeps w/ a good sense of humor to be the 'judges' of what goes up and what doesn't, I think it could turn out well.

So who here would be interested in going to a site like that? And who all would be willing to help out?

    Great idea, I'd help if I knew how to do anything and had time (damn you school). If you need any ray-traced images or 3d scenes with excellent radiosity lighting applied, I might be able to do that....

    I love the idea, but hate to be a downer and worry if there's really enough quotables from 1 chat room to host an entire website of that nature...

    There definately are enough from just #ns alone, let alone if we combine a few of the other community channels.

    Maybe expand it to "NS and Friends"? heh.

    Okay so far there seems to be some interest, so i guess I'll get to planning the system.


    First off we are going to need a fast host with lots of bandwidth (I'd say at least 100mb a month, maybe more) and PHP and MySQL support with an admin dedicated enough to do web server maintainence stuff (this doesn't mean a judge or site administartor type).

    We're still in need of a host for this, as I've yet to get any offeres.

    I'd hate to hit up LB for it as he's already hosting espionagemod.com, and I'm using doomaniac.com's webspace already too.

    Again guys, the server has to support PHP and have a MySQL Database, and it can't be something silly like a 50mb limit. Its gotta be a good host, not geocities.
