Current Alien Stats

<div class="IPBDescription">Can someone post them?</div> *sigh* I'm at my grandparents, and I don't have the stats memorized yet.

I need to know the HP/AP of all the aliens (vanilla) ASAP (preferably now)

I need to know the HP/AP and other stats of all Chambers ASAP (preferably now)

I need to know the Speed of all the aliens (in game meters/second preferably) (again, vanilla aliens)

I need to know the RoF (per second), Energy Usage (per attack), Range, Damage (per hit, and splash if applicable), and any special properties of all the alien attacks (needed by Monday if possible)

Thanks to anyone and everyone that helps!

If possible, could I get the same info for ALL marine stuff?

I'm trying to make a spreadsheet for it so I can see how/what each change would do! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I haven't used the lerk in 3.0, and I believe I used it once in 2.01, so I really wasn't sure.

Thanks dudes! This'll help me make the HP/AP stats for my spreadsheet, as well as the new DC and Regen healing chart (I am trying to make a simple formula to use) <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Now all I need are the Attack stats and speed, as well as chamber stats <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Also, I will in fact need the marine facts (the person I had asked only knew the 1.04 stats 0o")

Acid rocket has splash damage, though.

I don't know if you need it, but here are the stats for how alien armor works. At one hive, armor absorbs 70% of damage, and it takes 2 damage to remove 1 point of armor. At two hives, armor absorbs 80% of damage, and it takes 2.5 damage to remove 1 point of armor. At three hives, armor absorbs 90% of damage, and it takes 3 damage to remove 1 point of armor.

The new manual has most of those numbers, and they were automatically filled from the beta 3 blanace.txt file:

    <a href='http://www.natural-selection.org/manual_version_2/Natural_Selection_Manual_Framed.html' target='_blank'>http://www.natural-selection.org/manual_ve...ual_Framed.html</a>

    speed:

    vanilla aliens:

    skulk 290
    gorge 170
    lerk 175
    lerk (flying) 525
    fade 240
    onos 240

    celerity aliens:

    skulk 365
    gorge 245
    lerk (flying) 750
    fade 315
    onos 315

    blinking fade:

    without cele: 720
    with celerity: 945

(gets triple celerity boost. 3x75 = +225 like a flying lerk)

    leaping skulk:

    without cele: ~725
    with celerity: ~800

(gets normal celerity boost / +75)

edit: corrected the numbers due to more specific research ( sv_cheats 0 / cl_showspeed 1)

Unfortunately Balance.txt and thus the manual contain incorrect values for attack rates of weapons and abilities.

The source code and the code that outputs balance.txt use the same source location to get their numbers; unless the version of balance.txt you're looking at is out-of-date, there shouldn't be a discrepency. Balance.txt is automatically generated as a part of the build process, so the file distributed with the beta 3 patch should be correct.

Are the attack rates off by a consistent amount? Perhaps there's a scaling factor being applied to the balance variables by the game code that I'm not aware of...

I have suspected that, as the attack rates given by Balance.txt are all approximately half their actual values. But the range of variation seemed too great. However, that could be a result of inaccuracy in the values I was using as the actual attack rates, as they were determined hastily.
