<div class="IPBDescription">Some things differ in windows XP</div> Just to avoid confusion Maus' tutorials instructions differ slightly for windows XP (or the version of XP i'm using atleast), only really with the compiler/decompiler instructions. When associating QC files with studiomdl.bat in windows XP:
In explorer, select Tools->Folder Options, File Types tab. Scroll down to the QC entry and highlight it
Click change
Browse for studiomdl.bat
click OK
double click on studiomdl.bat in the list to make it a recommended program.
it should now work
people should be able to figure out how to do it like i did but just saves a bit of confusion.
Can't remember if you had to do the same in windows 9x but when creating a bat file with notepad you can't select save as file type .bat, you just have to make the filename *.bat.
