<div class="IPBDescription">Only if you have non-steam CS1.6.....</div> <b>First of all you need:</b>
1. Have installed non-steam CS1.6 to your valve folder
2. Have installed NS 3.0 beta3 client onto your steam folder.
<b>Now to play NS on LAN without steam you must:</b>
1. Copy you NSP folder from <i>(c:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\email@domain.com\)</i>
2. to c:\Program Files\Valve\
Additionally, make a shortcut in your NSP folder:
Target: "C:\Program Files\Valve\hl.exe" -nomaster -game ns
Start in: "C:\Program Files\Valve"
That's it!
Now, you may burn your entire valve folder (minus cstrike <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> ) and distribute it to your friends for your next lan party. Be sure to tell your friends to copy the files onto the same directory in order for the shortcut to work.
*I have not tried if this works for the dedicated server patch as well.
