Please Help!

<div class="IPBDescription">!</div> I am a very new map maker, just learning the basics. I made a big box room with 4 walls and a ceiling. It has a player start. But whenever I try and run it, i get a message in the console that reads like this:

Adding: valve/dlls/hl.dll
Dll loaded for game Half-Life
execing skill.cfg
map change failed: 'map 2' not found on server
execing config.cfg


Can anyone help me with this? I'm really in a crunch for time here so if anyone can help me out fast, I'll worship you forever. (BTW, 'map 2' is just the name of my map.)

Assuming you made a floor,
did you compile the map?
if so, you didn't set up hammer right,
you need to change your map directory.
Make sure your compiled map (bsp) is in the map directory!

IE:
C:\Sierra\Half-Life\NS\Maps

I don't think HL likes having spaces in the map name. Change the name and make sure you're doing everything Night mentioned. If it still doesn't work come back and let us know.
