Ahem. Sorry, but I have to do this.
Tribes 2 used it's own, propietary engine. And I'm not sure about AvP, but AvP2 used the Lithtech engine, made at Monolith, who I believe (but could be wrong) made the game.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span id='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd--> First off, I know for sure that AvP2 uses lithtech engine by monolith, but I don't think that monolith made the game. Of course I could be wrong. For Tribes 2, I am certain that they did not make the engine themselves. Tribes 2 is made by Dynamix. They used the Torque engine, created by <a href="http://www.garagegames.com/" target="_blank">Garage Games</a>. Make sure you have your info, H'BNayr

I am uber-surprised about that Quake 1 stuff. I got a copy of Quake 1 off a friend a couple of months ago and played around in it for a bit. Not a patch on the visuals of HL.

AVP2 is also indeed a Monolith title.
