It's not that bad... I've gone more than a week without ANY sleep, I often don't eath lunch, very RARELY have time for breakfast... and I'm at my ideal weight (175 pounds) for my height (5 foot 11 inches) I have a LOW body mass index (I think it's around 4-6%... not sure right now as it's late and I'm a tad tired) and I can leg press ~ 2.5 times my body weight (the max I can do is ~400 pounds) I dun know how much I can bench press (haven't checked lateley... last year this time it was THE bar... but I've trippled my muscell mass and halved my fat mass since then)
I'm BUILT man! I got a fair 6 pack (with a 1/4 inch layer of fat over top... stupid me forgot to work my abs for almost 4 months 0o") so hehe, I'm healthy!
Really, staying up for ~100 hours isn't THAT dangerous... as long as you compensate by reducing WHAT you do, HOW much you do, and increasing the Caloric intake and Natural Sugar (aka, Glucose) intake to compensate <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd--> GG dieing soon <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Yeah it's not that bad, a friend of mine gamed for 18 hours straight. My regular sleeping time is around 2am. And I wake up at 7am, that 5 hours of sleep. But enough for me.

There have been reports of people suddenly dying after sitting at a very long movie (something to do with blood clots in the legs or such) and 20 hours gaming sure beats the lord of the rings!

hm..
i think this has nothing to do with natural selection, but more to do with common sense, as mentioned above.
it's not that he was less "fit" for survival... he completely lacked proper gaming instincts.
when i'm playing for more than a few hours, sometimes i get outta my chair and play standing up, i'll get myself things to drink/eat in front of the comp, etc...

A tip, if you're going to be gaming for 20 straight hours, lay down or prop your legs up or something to avoid the whole blood-stuck-in-legs issue... o.O
for console games I'm generally laying down on the floor to play them anyway, computer of course, you have to use a chair... the base speaker works pretty well as a footrest though. ; )
