A local teen was charged in court Tuesday for allegedly urinating on an 8-year-old boy in a locker room before a hockey game.
Justin Rankin, 17, a junior at Lincoln Park High School, was charged with assault and battery for an incident that took place before his team's hockey game in January.

Judge Hands Down Charges To Hockey Player
An 8-year-old spectator went to use the restroom area inside the men's locker room at the Lincoln Park Community Center when Rankin (pictured, left) approached him from behind, according to police.
Police say Rankin urinated on the boy and cursed at him.
Rankin apparently told police that members of the hockey team would urinate on younger players as a form of initiation, but the 8-year-old boy had no affiliation with the team, the station reported.
The 17-year-old hockey player reportedly admitted responsibility to police.
"I, on Saturday, before my hockey game, urinated on the boy … I am sorry. It was a big mistake. I would never do it again," said Rankin.
Rankin was kicked off the hockey team. It was not known if he would be allowed to return to the team for his senior year.
The teen declined comment to Local 4 on Tuesday.
He is scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary exam near the end of March.
If convicted of misdemeanor charges, Rankin will likely be sentenced to community service.
A judge ordered Tuesday that Rankin have no contact with the 8-year-old boy, who is reportedly in therapy.
Local 4 learned that the parents on both sides have been arguing over the matter.
Rankin's father could face charges of intimidation for allegedly threatening the 8-year-old's father. <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Urine is 90% water anyway, it's not like it's dirty.
But if I was wearing shorts or something... meh. Id just wipe it off and make an off-color comment.
Naw, I would be like, dude gross and take of as many clothes as possible. Then beat the crap out of that guy.
I might be a little angry that I'm wet, and I'd probably make him get me a towel but other than that, eh...

(i would say more but i don't want to get banned from the forums <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> )
I think some of you are overlooking the average mentality of an 8 year old. Huge teenage hockey player peeing and yelling at you might be a little more traumatic at that age.
