Map Crashes.

<div class="IPBDescription">Cause: unknown.</div> Hey, everytime when I want to run my map... steam just crashes and I get the Windows error window. I really have no idea what's wrong. How can I fix this? If you want screen/map/other, than ask here. Thanks in advance!

    ok,
    i would try and fix the leaf error, though it not a devastatingly serious issue. the repeated textures should of course be replaced. further more i strongly suggest the use of the XP Cagey compile tools. <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=21248' target='_blank'>Get XPCagey's tools here</a>

    when does the map crash? does it crash on load or does and action trigger it?
    Are you using AAATRIGGER anywhere in your map, especially if it crashes when you join a team? when half life crashes what error does it throw?

    edit: i forgot, steam tends to not like being run direct from teh compiler. though there was fix a while back. so make sure you check that out too.

    One common cause of crash on load is non-alphanumeric characters in entity attribute strings -- the engine's parser chokes if it sees some unexpected ASCII values while loading the entities at level start. If you've recently added new entities to the map you might want to double check their attributes.

    The values [a-z][A-Z][0-9]., ' all work fine if I remember correctly... other characters may cause issues.

    I really should add a check for bad entity string values to HLCSG's map input code...

    Hey, **** it. I'm not a 'error finding' newbie, but I didn't see that one >_< . OK, now I know the error, I can fix it. And I'll use the other compiling tools as well (later on though, I don't wanna do it right now).
