I remember playing Dark Castle around the same time as you first played Duck Hunt... We got our first Nintendo around the time of SMB2 (I think I was 5 or 6). What happened to your postcount??

Duck Hunt was mad fun. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Also, I had Marik reset it.
My first computer game was a turn-based strategy called Conquest, then a driving sim called "Stunt Driver."
And then, the blissful glory that was MechWarrior II.
I've been playing games since before I remember. Mostly games like the various Quest series from Sierra. Space Quest, King's Quest, Hero's Quest... excellent games, all of them. Also used to play old MUDs like Zork.
We had a console, and old Texas Instruments thing. Played Space Invaders and some 2D scrolly spaceship game...
Age-wise, I really dont remember.... the Quest games started coming out in mid-80s, so I was probably 6 or 7?
Oh yea, and plenty of Nibbles on Basic.
My older brothers had an NES. They bought donkey kong jr. on it. Then later they bought zelda. I remember it was a golden cartridge. Ah the memories...
I learned the tricks of the trade. Amongst them, blowing one end of the cartridge over and over and over again until NES finally recognized the game. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
My first real game was zelda. I could never beat the second part of the game (where everything was different and the monsters were tougher). I'd always give up after reaching the first level and getting killed by a mummy (they took away 2 hearts!).
I've been gaming since I was 3 or 5 (somewhere in there), playing Pitfall and other classics on Atari 2600 back in 1983 or 85. :D Had a Colecovision too! Zaxxon pwns.
Frequently played SMB, and sometimes Loderunner (teh pwn!) but most of the time I play bomberman because of its shear difficulty.
Later on the [fix]NES[/fix] broke, and we had nothing to play with.
Cut 3 years later. 6 years old, first playstation because 'everybody had one'. Got Guybrave game and couldn't stop playing. We also got Final Fantasy 4, and it was in Japanese, which sparked my interest in Japanese language.
Cut 2 months later, dad bought Final Fantasy 7, my FF fanboy-ism starts.
Cut this again to 5 months later, my brother left for China for his DJ work, so I played Topgun on his PC, and managed to unplug the joystick for some reason o_O
Cut to 4 years ago, got our won family PC, played on emulators to play good ol' classics.
Cut again to 3 years, my introduction to Rainbow Six, and eventually....Counter-Strike
One year later, found a couple of pretty neat mods. NS, Boxwar, ESF (I don't care what you think. I know I don't like DBZ too) and some others.
2 months ago, brother brought his PS2 with him from his former apartment. Still ain't plugged but I intend to ask my friend to help me buy a game of Naruto because of Naruto fanboy-ism rampage)
Only started online gaming with Doom a bit, then a lot more for Duke3D and a hell of a lot with Quake.
I was playing since as long as I could remember. At least two, my first PC game was on the PC, on a huge floppy, in DOS. It was kind of like Space Invaders. I think the name of it was Rocky's Boots or something stupid like that.
Then came Doom shareware...
Then Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic Edition.
And yeah, NES, SNES, and Genesis was in the middle of that. And the really old, fat, grey Gameboy, and Gamegear, and Sega Nomad.
those little single game hand held thingys
Kung Fu
NES
Age: 2 years old
Yeah same here....maybe even younger....
Sonic baby! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
