and in milkshape i have no idea how to count the polys, but i think it has something to do with tools -> model statistics. it doesnt have polies but it has verts, triangles and other stuff, so i duno...
get some more ideas and ill model them

SelPolyCount shows actual polycount, the other thing tells triangles and vertices and other stuff.
