Here it is on some cylinders.... i'll use it on something else in a sec....
EDIT - This tutorial is supposed to be simple and is for beginners. If your an experienced skinner, why the hell you reading this?! <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
see, you can use this any way you want really... its perfect for edges in a clip, minor details on a bland body etc. im sure you can do the same with burn tool too, this did help me alot. thank you.
ques: when skinning, how do you select only the portain you want to edit., ie, just the stock part, or just the clip. i know there are several ways to do it but i wondered what the easiest for this situation was. im quite experienced with photoshop so a simple explanation should do...
drag a box around what you want, use the magic wand to <b>de</b>select the areas you want with alt i think or was it ctrl <!--emo&::nerdy::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/nerd.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='nerd.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Then go to select -> feather and choose about 5 pixels
Select -> Feather -> about 5 pixels again.
Then using dodge tool again (same settings as just) fill it in again
Thank you <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
