Need Help Finding An Anime
<div class="IPBDescription">Lost in my mind</div> All I know...is that it was good. I was about 7-8 when I started to watch the show, and it came on early, on saturdays. Sometimes I couldnt wake up in time, and missed it. The anime...was very good, and could one of you help me come up with a name?
Here are the things I know
Its about a guy, whose family were space traders
His entire family...got caught in some alien blob thing
His father and Mother died in side of it. His sister and brother, were still alive.
Somehow he broke free, rocketed towards earth in a peice of the blob. He landed near some government building in the desert. People found him, and cared for him. He had a crystal with him. They soon found out that some armor came from this crystal...it was strange strange armor. The crystal moved to the front of the forhead when transformed. I remember he had some type of time limit...or another. Soon after, BLAM another blob hits down. Its his sister, and she has the same type of armor. His was black, hers was pink. Something happend, and she got caught in a fight against a buncha bad guys...and blew herself (and the bad doods) to kingdom come through a self destruct. His brother shows up, except somehow he is evil. His armor was...blue? I cant remember. This is when it gets fuzzy as hell. Yeah...thats about it.
People, this anime series was awsome. I remember only the first few parts vividly. I need help finding a name, so I can go out and buy the DVD. (If they made one)

Its not Voltron, but Voltron kicks **** and you should watch it anyway.

It sounds about right (atleast with the big armor stuff coming out of nowhere... but, how many animes out there have that...). Of course, i'm going by the horrid live action movie which I havent seen in a very long time and have only seen a few pictures from the anime by the same name.

I also remember a show vaugly, but cant think of a name and its bugging me...
I only ever saw it on holiday in Spain, so I never knew the name, luckily it was a pretty simple show and the dialogue didnt seem to matter too much <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
it was like a kids anime, there was a main hero who owned a sword with a gem in the handle. The gem would change colour depending on the element of the sword.
It seemed a pretty generic fight the bad guys plot, There was one episode where the main guy and his bunch of friends were climbing a tower to somewhere and one of his friends slips or somthing and he throws down his swords handlefor them to grasp hold up, and pulls them up by the swords blade.. I think thats about as deep as it got, but the I was young and it was in Spanish.
If anyones got a clue of the name, this has been bugging me for years.
