Can't Join Games; Disconnected Error Messages

<div class="IPBDescription">map and .dll problems</div> Hey. I downloaded NS recently, as it seems to be amazingly fun, but I'm unable to play or join any games. Every time I try, I get one of the two following types of error messages:

<i>Disconnected
Your .dll [cl_dlls\client.dll] differs from the server's.</i>

or, if I were trying to join a game with (for example) co.kestrel as the map, I'd get

<i>Disconnected
Your map [maps/co_kestrel.bsp] differs from the server's.</i>

In the latter type of error message, the map name changes accordingly with whatever map I might try and join.

Should I uninstall and try again? If so, how do I uninstall using Steam? I don't see the option. What should I do?

I really want to play, but I'm at the end of my rope here, and would greatly appreciate any advice I could get.
