The NSTR2 *will* have the welder, though. Except, it's going to be a replacement model. And I'm pretty sure there won't be welding animations. And it won't hurt someone. But it's going to be sooo cool.
So will the NSTR2 have the "one-way-window" commander mode method? So the ceilings won't have to be entities and the map doesnt have to be surrounded by a black box?
Quick question about the "player" in NSTR2... Will it be a "god" being, in that it can wall climb and fly so that we can test out how well our alien portions of the maps are conductive to the alien movements? Also, will the testversion of the commandermode allow us to place entities so we can test for areas that we don't want sentries built in our map? the method for allowing and dissallowing turrets has changed so many times since I started on the old forums that I just gave up until the release NSTR2 to start to seriously map.
