With some luck they will fit good in ns_phaedra <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->
now the only thing missing is a complete customized "marines vs. aliens" soundpack with all the nice swearing, firing and head crunching <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->
BTW- anyone care to mirror this? My max download speed from any of the servers there is less than 5 K... 0o" Never had that happen with anything before (normally DL at around 2-500 K )

I'm not a mapper so I don't know the ins and outs of adding sounds. I <i>do</i> know that WAV files require a looping flag to properly loop in NS. To the best of my attention, all of my WAV files are set up to loop properly.

For some reason I get the best speeds from the server in VA. (But I'm on the west coast so I don't know why).

Would I be able to use them for a non-NS project? (You would be afforded full credit of course.)

I would like to know how to include these in maps too...
I would love for some of these sounds to go off every 30 seconds when someone walks into a specific area.... =)
I appreciate the hard work making these sounds... good sounds are as important as good lighting in a map IMO.

Yes, good point I forgot to mention. I released this as a replacement for the default sounds, so if you decide to use the sounds in your map, make sure you rename them.
And using these in a non-NS project? Umm... Sure, why not? <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

... a bit late for that now, don't you think?
Ah well, they're good, but some don't quite fit in IMO.
