Clicking Multiple Buttons.
I recently got the Logitech MX500, and It is an excellent mouse for gaming.

One Minor thing I noticed:
When Playing games like The Specialists, some akimbo weapons can allow you to fire the left gun with the left mouse button, and the right gun with the right one. When I tried firing them both at the same time, only one of the 2 clicks is detected (So trying to fire both at the same time doesn't work.) With my older mouse, It would register both buttons at the same time, all the time.

I've seen the MX510, It looks very similar. Would it be able to detect the mouse1 and mouse2 buttons at the same time?

Or could it be a driver issue? I really don't like the idea of installing MouseWare, but if I must..

Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Well, from what I've read, the MX510 is more of the gaming version of the 500. If anything it's the same thing only with a better recognition system for better precision. So I'm gonna guess at least try new mouse drivers before anymore questioning.

I just tried the newest MouseWare drivers, but to no avail. Should I just return the 500 and go for the 510?

Indeed, 510 is the real gaming mouse anyway. and if it doesn't work, it's still a more prevailing one.

After some research, the MX500 and MX510 are identical mice except for the optical eye.

I made a double fire script so I don't have to think about it now

I don't really like the MX700. It only moves perfectly horizontal if the mouse isn't being rotated at all, so you can't pivot it from your wrist. It is like that because the optical sensor on the MX700 is off-centered.

I have a Logitech Dual Optical, and find it best if I do NOT use the MouseMan drivers. Try uninstalling them and see if it helps.

If all else fails, get a Mx900 like me

Not sure what MX700 you're fooling around with, but I went into MSPaint and drew a bunch of horizontal lines with mine just now. It was pretty easy.
