<div class="IPBDescription">help me choose songs!</div> I'm currently in the process of making a natural selection based frag movie, similar to the movies found at csflicks.net (especially the NoA one). Anyway, I don't have a big collection of music, and honestly have no idea what songs I should use. So if you guys have any suggestions, PLEASE post them here! I'll consider every single song, and if your song is chosen, you'll make it in the credits of the movie!
Once again, everything is welcome, but here are a few guidelines to keep in mind:
- should be fast paced
- preferably with lyrics
- lyrics with "victory" or "evolution" themes are a plus (i.e. "we are the champions")
- romance songs aren't so great, but it could work if the song itself is "hard" enough
- rap = very good (I HAVE SEVERAL ROCK SONGS NOW: NEED HIP-HOP!)
- techno/trance = good
- DOES NOT HAVE TO BE MAINSTREAM (even better if it's not, so people won't go "not this song again)
- ALL GENRES!

Also, the movie will feature some of the current top clans (delta and omega), and if you're in any of those clans, please send me any demos you have. one or two pub/pug demos are cool also.

Rob Zombie - Superbeast. PERFECT for showing alien ownage.
Metallica - Master of Puppets. Comm is the master of the marines...? Meh it's a rockin song. The slow part in the middle could be for some peaceful gorging ^_^
Godsmack - I Stand Alone. The rambo song.
Fugazi - Ex Spectator. Ex Spectator... means he was spectating and just spawned ^_^
Everclear - When It All Goes Wrong Again. The marine's last stand song.
Drowning Pool - Bodies. "Let the bodies hit the floor". I think this is self explanatory.
Propellerheads - Skybreak. The fight song in the lobby scene in the Matrix.

Try to find String Quartet - Heaven , which is basically all strings version of Stairway to heaven. That would also be a top choice.

Some demo's that are recent and I am proud of are all of the #cri demo's submitted to www.ampednews.com .
Last, one of the demo's that will pop up on the site will be from the UGL combat finals match, which was extreamlly good dispite the fact of how much aliens owned, it was still very fun and lots of action and good material for a frag vid.
i talked to critical and he opened up cri's demos sections for me, so i got a quite a few demos to work from there. i'll be sure to check @ amped too.
using it in my skill movie already.

their music is perfect, but i'd have to agree... it's just too overused in frag movies.
Wings of Hydra can be nifty.
Maybe The Dance or Dark Wings by Within Temptation.
Therion's Cult of the Shadows, Wine of Aluqah, perhaps Rise of Sodom and Gomorrah and Crowning of Atlantis.
