kill nothing and incapacitate nothing
incap everything, including the dog
kill everything, including the dog
grab as many as you can.
etc.
Yeah, but unless you can legally download the game for free and try it out without having to pay a penny, it's demo time!
I think your urine-stained pantalons say all the words we could ever need.
What's the M160 crap though? I thought the mercs would get some better weapons, like maybe USAS-12, AK-104, Mk. 23, etc... There's no legal issues either; SoF 2 used all real-world guns but omitted the name of the manufacturer to keep it nice and legal.
if all of the stuff about 4 player games is true, then how are we gona get decent servers?
If they can some how make it so that listen servers work well, then ok I guess, or if it is very undemanding as a server (so one server could host 2-5 of them) then I guess so.
I just don't know if they can do that or not....
oh well (clues any one?)
Because every other gun name in the game is made up too, and it takes place in the year 2006 so they can have artistic liberties such as this?
Stop crying you gun nut. :P
Anyone wanna set up a server? LB? Bueller? Bueller?
And BTW- reason they can't have actual guns is because they gotta pay out the ying-yang for moolah to do it, and even then they must portray them as if their "Perfect" unless they pay quite a bit more.
And...the only unrealistic thing I found about the game was the gun handling(you could steady your aim in less than a second, but you can barely turn around with it out in 15 seconds? Whaaa???)
Yum for demo.
Anyone up for a 2 v 2 Tourny <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->?
And remember guys, PC version supposedly has Mic support! :D
/me grabs fam and puts gun to his head "HAHA WHO HAS YOUR BALLS NOW!??" *Whack*
Which gives me all day to play Twin Snakes
and then i'll hop on the PC to get the Pandora
Tommorow demo <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
This day is off to a pretty good start... except the pouring
rain outside I have to venture through in 20 minutes.
But something I just discovered, since I really like grabbing the guy and pretending I'm whispering the horrible things I'm going to do to his friends into his ear... I found out that if you're holding a guy and press equip, you'll actually be able to shoot other guys and use your captive as a human shield!
They're trying for a suspenseful environment, and they thought 2 players on each team would work best.... we'll see.
Design decision, similar to DOOM 3's 4 player limit.
I didn't say a very good design decision... :/
With 8 people you just loose that Aliens-2-as-you-enter-the-first-building feel
