Bug or Feature?
I remember someone talking about this back in 1.04, with level 0 weapons marines experience no recoil at all, with level 1, screen starts to shake, level 2, screen shakes more, level 3, screen shakes enough to give someone in perfect health acute epilepsy.
I remember some people saying they NEVER experienced this recoil, and a handful of people saying that they did, does everyone get this, or is it a bug?

no, the cone-fire system is good enough without realistic weapon physics.
What do you want? a HMG that's useless because it has such HUGE recoil?
and i'm sure that screen-shakey bug was fixed, too.
You are my e-hero.
Remember Aliens? You know, the sequel to Alien? Well remember how the leader has only had two combat drops?.. but his rank is higher than the rest?
Yeah. It's arbitrary if you haven't gathered by now. So don't act surprised.
this guy's my e-hero.
kthxbye

I didnt suggest we HAVE recoil, i was wondering if it was part of the game, because I've had it back since 1.0, only realised it was wrong when someone else commented on it.
i have this recoil thing, I just noticed it a few days ago, the screen shakes up and down as the weapon level goes up. i've always had it, just never noticed it. it was a new feature in 2.0 (i think), and when I asked others who didn't believe they had it to see if their screen shaked at lvl3, they all said they had it. it's really not big enough that it matters in game, but it can be distracting to an extent.
I'm not certain if the levels make any difference, I wasn't looking to carefully =P
eric, I'd suggest you don't derail any further threads.
