I don't know how spider-like it is with four legs but the concept itself is quite nice. Reminds me of the clone wars earlier version of the AT-AT. Maybe if you wanted to make it more distinguished you should add the guns at a different spot or put some on the sides as well. Nice stuff.

more legs but also a less fat, lower to the groud design. also, make the legs have 2 joints so that they look more like an arachnid. it shouldn't be too bright... prehaps black in color? camo? oh yea add flamethrowers and claws to the front and ill buy a poster <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->
The main "body" just doesn't feel very sleek to me... Something there needs sleekening (sleekening is now a word. In case you missed the memo. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->)

Add an Iron Cross onto the side of Grizzley's tank, make the turrets around the head be under the tank. Change the visor to red or some evil looking color and make the body black. BAM! Ebil tank 1337zorz!!!1
For Norn's tank, for more fear factor, make the legs different. Right now, they look kinda goofy. Make the bodly a bit shorter and it'd look more fearsome. A large cannon like gun on the botom of the body would probably help.
thats some of the best use of paint i have seen in a while! i hav a program that does cad-geometry sketch thingys so the lines might be straighter <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Probally wouldn't be a logical tank design - mostly because one hit to the join where it connects to the body would damage or disable a leg, which would effectivly reduce or remove it's ability to walk. If anything, the entire leg should be as armored or more armored then the torso - they would be the most logical locations to attack on it.

Incidentally, one of the reasons insects/arachnids have multiple legs is so that the animal still retains mobility even if it loses a limb. A walking tank similarly would do well to have some redundancy built into its design in the form of at least 6 if not 8 legs.
i actually like supernorns spider design. its very well done <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo--> brilliant work

However, tracked tanks lack a certain coolness factor in most peoples eyes and scifi dosen't have to obey all the laws of physics, so they are used.

Very damn huge though!

but more legs would look cool, but it's hard to shake that at-at feel

I could make some recommendations, but since I don't anything about the context of the model or what it's going to be used for I can't.

But in a game, Cool is <b>far</b> greater than realisim.
