Screwed By Hivesight For The Last Time...

<div class="IPBDescription">text</div> ever been walking down a hallway and not notcie a camping marine because of the big hivesight text saying something stupid like "bob is gorge in power silo", or miss a parasite because the text was blocking ur view of the marine?? this has been happening to me alot lately...so is there anyway to disable the hivesight text but keep the icons? because i really dont care if "bob is gorge in power silo" as long as i can see the hivesight icon.

    I agree - The text in NS is very bad for people playing in Lower Res - I would love to find the font size setting for NS

    Steam's font size is huge. There is a way to change it, but I'm not sure how risky it is.

    It has been suggested before (but never done) to make the alien flashlight key toggle hivesight, instead of higlighting players and structures. Also, parasite doesn't disappear when the marine comes into your screen, and it's pretty annoying to not being able to see if he's aiming at you or not.

    ...but useful to see if he is parasited or not.

    Still, I am in favour of this "toggle" idea. Will see if I can raise the dead post in I&S from its position in the post-afterlife.
