    i had an inkling that there was something in an FAQ about this, but i checked and there isn't. so far as i know, there are no plans to release the NS source code (if there were and i haven't heard i'd be very surprised)

    i wouldnt, as there would be many spinoffs of starcraft, and people would play other mods based on the SC of ns, as in, 0mgportablesiegesandhovaringscorpians
