[req]map Texture

I need a sign for my map. It'll be seen a lot around the map, so I want it to look nice.
Attached is a layout of sorts. The center scribble should be a symbol (ficticious or otherwise) for the warning. Preferrably, make up some sort of symbol that'll convey what you think would be a warning for nanosludge (IE: This stuff is not going to be healthy to swim in, I dunno, use your imagination! I certainly don't want to see a plain old 'radioactive' symbol) Chose the colors (Probably warning-yellow, but other colors like blue might work), but that's sorta what I'm looking for. Make it a 256x256 texture.
Try to make it look a little warn. Maybe some chips of rust on the edges, but don't make it look like it's been sitting in a sewer for three years.
Thanks <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I'm having a problem getting it into my .wad and map with the 'empty' areas transparent. I've made them 0 0 255 and named it {nanowarn, and made it a func_wall rendertype Solid and FX 255, but the blue is still visible... what am I doing wrong?
Bah okay I need the palette to have 0 0 255 as the last color, and I've been screwing with this for the past hour and cannot get it working... can you make it work for me? D:
labeling is your friend eg aks teh mesh to label <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
No it's not. It's <b>pwnage!</b>
He isn't done with it. If you want to finish it yoursefl just open up a paint program and go over the partially blue pixels with the same full blue that is normally transparent. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Er, it needs to be the last colour of the pallette (sp?) and it doesn't have to be blue anyhow. It can be whatever colour you want, as long as it's the last colour.

I am done with it. I finished this on IRC with EEK, corrected the pallette and tested it ingame. I just didn't post that here. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

yes.. i know. Esuna used blue and I was just saying that the same blue applied to the pixels that were showing up would have fixed the problem.

The final result is black for transparency, actually. I usually use 2 colours, pure red and pure blue. Usually, i make everything with a pure red background, then import into wally. Then in wally i manually change the last colour of the pallette (colours > edit pallette, i believe) to either pure blue or black, then fill the desired area, and manually colour whatever left over red pixels there are. This way it's really easy to see what needs editing.
