I Have A Real Problem Installing Ns

<div class="IPBDescription">Tech</div> There is a big problem that is seem to have when I try to run Ns it simply isint there. I got ns from a friend who Burned it onto a cd along with v3.0 the beta 3 patch, steam install and the latest half life update. i first installed the H-L update then steam then NS V3.0 and then the beta patch. Ns would not show up in the Half life custom game menu or Steam. I downloaded the dedicated server and ran half-life through steam but what is wrong?
