<div class="IPBDescription">Which types would you want to see?</div> I really wish some big-time game devs would pick up on this concept with the RTS hybrids.
I was trying out the Homeworld 2 demo yesterday and thought, "This would just be amazing to have as a multiplayer with two opposing sides with a commander on each and a team playing in a space-fighter sim fashion." The commanders could research new ship types, ship upgrades, build forward bases, refueling stations, etc. Players could pilot anything from scout- to assault-type vessels.
Square-Enix, Blizzard, or one of the other big-time developers need some motivation. Hopefully releasing NS as retail will get that.
