<div class="IPBDescription">It always shows as default in game....</div> I am sure this is a noobish question but...
I want to use a custom sky (cl_omega) by darkATI ...
So in the editor i entered omega into the environment map cl_skyname property i put "omega".
Before compiling the map I also placed the 6 *.tga files: omega_dn, omega_ft, omega_bk, etc. in the half-life/nsp/gfx/env directory (using NS beta 3).
it didn't work so i put them also in the directory: half-life/valve/gfx/env/ directory.. and nothing...
Somewhere I cam accross a note about having to type in a special rcon command in the console.
So i issued the command:
rcon sv_skyname omega
Still nothing but the default sky in game.
So how do I use the custom sky?
Will all the servers that use my map have to run this rcon command? (if so i would make an entry in the readme.)

It's not "_omega". For Skynames you always have to write the full name of the file without the extension dn, ft , bk etc.
In this case try "omega_" . DarkATI propably just mixed it up.
Thanks for the note though; hopefully it will help others.
