A Map Idea

<div class="IPBDescription">You may use this idea if you wish</div> First I won't continue work on this map because I don't have the time or patience to work on such a very complex map for NS.
I don't mind if you use this map idea or not. It came to me in a dream anyway.
This is a nanosludge repository on a small planet, moonbase, or space station.
Hey that stuff has got to come from somewhere.
It is a very strait forward complex. Nothing fancy. Two loading/shipping docks and two cargo rooms, spoking out from a central hub. The hub is four nozels with a copling in the ceiling that is retracted. There is a control room in between one of the shipping docks and the other. Then there is a mantenence/pump room between the cargo rooms. All the rooms are connected together around the central hub or to the spokes. Resource nozels are optional in those rooms. Of course there must be a resource nozel in each of the other rooms because they are the bases, 3 hives as ussual and the marin start.
The marine start is in shipping dock 2. while the aliens start in any of the other hives as ussual.
Now the design is simple for a reason. I know it sounds boring right. Wrong. Since four nozels are in the central area they are THE prime target. This map is meant to test everyones skillz. If you wait to long to get to the middle you have little chance of getting ever again I know. But it will concentrate the action and make for one interesting game.
I know that the marines are at a substantial disadvantage but I'm not sure how less likely they are to win. If it not tryed then we won't know how well it would work now do we.
I have thought of a few ways to keep from skulk raids and giving the marines a chance. Have the doors on long waiting and opening cycles. Double edged sword but a good way to stop there quick advance. Another No vents to marine start. No auto opening doors.
If you want a template to get your own brain going on this map i have fleshed out a VERY rough map with little indicators and hl wad combatiblity. Meaning no special wads needed.
