Just wondering, is the info_player_start the size of a Marine? I dont wanna go any farther with my map untill I can find out if I made the dimensions right...
In the future, these posts should go in Mapping Help and Troubleshooting, located at the top of the Mapping Forum.
Anyway, if you don't have Hammer 3.5 beta yet, go get it. It shows the model in the 3D view, which helps a bit more than just a green bounding box <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

the eyeline of the marine model <span style='color:gray'>"info_player_start"</span> (you see in the newest hammer) is the exactly the same eyeheight (horizon?) as ingame. So if you place for example a button @ the eyeheight of the model <span style='color:gray'>"info_player_start"</span> in hammer you should see it in middle of your screen ingame.
<span style='color:gray'>eyeheight? sounds weird is this correct english? <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--></span>
