<div class="IPBDescription">Gamma and transparent fonts! whee!</div> Ok, upon installing the newest STEAM patch, I now have the strangest problem. This used to only happen sometimes when I used ALT+TAB, and now it seems permanent. This only happens with NS. My video card is a radeon 9600pro. This only happens in openGL. D3D works fine, but has horrible FPS.
1. FPS drops, in excess of 50 or more.
2. Everything is dark, as if the gamma set used by NS is not working for some reason.
3. All fonts, including those in the scoreboard, are semi-transparent.
I have checked the steam forum, and checked this forum, and do not find any mention of this problem anywhere. So, am I permanently screwed? probally. But I'm posting here on the off chance that it can be fixed somehow.
