Ok, i´ve been pretty busy with my next flood type design =) so i was just able to play around with the white lights a bit, before they where 255 255 255 30, now they are 255 255 255 75, with this change the floor and the wall is lit up now, and there are some nice shadows between the columns Pic: Edit: The pic is gamma adjusted, so don´t worry about it =)
Very nice indeed, love the shadow grate effect on the waqll oppisite the grate. looks like a light in a ventilation system that is shining thourgh to the wall, suddenly you see the light disapear! ah it's a skulk! =P <!--emo&::asrifle::--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/asrifle.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='::asrifle::'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&::skulk::--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/skulk.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='::skulk::'><!--endemo-->
its a bit rustic, with the brown wall and the slimey water, the red lighting doesnt go well with those colours try out a few other colours, or maybe some different textures here or there
I thought the red and white looked good, even with the orange if i may dare to say.
The white lights are normal human lighting, I'd expect to see some on the maps. And then the orange lighting hints at the world outside's alien [aka: not earth] nature. Lastly the red comes in as some sort of 'danger' or 'emergency' type lighting saying "There's some *@#$ going down here! Run you fools!"
Whats the size of an onos?? because i wanna make this a sewer part of the map, and as you can see, there´s a stair, now, i need to know the size of an onos to make the hole on the ceiling big enough for it =)
The Onos is (I believe) 64 x 64 x 108 units. So it's 1.5 times as tall as a normal human. In any case, the Onos can crouch to the size of a human to fit through normal-sized areas.

If at all possible, make it high enough for him to get through. Low ceilings should not be "oh, Onos can crouch, he'll be fine" -- they should be "Hmm, forcing Onos to crouch here would be good/bad because it gives him a movement disadvantage..." Etc. I'm much happier when I don't have to crouch as Onos, especially since his crouch is fairly slow.
