    Actually, I'm guessing they do the same thing as many reptiles; i.e., their claws are covered in tiny hairs that can stick into the nearly-microscopic pits in an objects surface.

    First of all, skulls dont climb on walls, skul<b>k</b>s do.

    Second, I would guess they stick their claws into the walls.

    i think a better question is: how do lerks fly without flapping their wings??! <!--emo&::lerk::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/lerk.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='lerk.gif' /><!--endemo--> <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    A) Flapping is not needed to "hovar".

    B) They're gliding.

    The reason the flapping animation rarely plays is because people only need to flap 1 to 3 times to get up to full speed. They glide most of the time. Duh

    mmmmmmmm, true, but as far as i am aware, the lerk animation is very buggy, maybe i don't know enough about it. (also when gliding it looks weird)

    the lerk animation currently has its wings pulled in the vast majority of the time in mid glide.

    You are unfortunately correct - visual glitches occupy a low fixing priority, though.
