If you check out the <a href='http://www.natural-selection.org/manual/' target='_blank'>Manual</a> you can see alot of these things <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
in fact:
<!--QuoteBegin--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->equally at ease on the ceiling as the floor, speculation is that the bladed feet of these Kharaa have retractable microscopic spines that shoot out when a spike's tip pierces a surface, and retract when the foot is lifted. This ability gives them access to vents and passage ways that, all too often, serve as shortcuts and safe-passage all over a ship or base. This also encourages ambush behavior. A Kharaa can be hiding on absolutely any surface. Never trust an empty room. <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Second, I would guess they stick their claws into the walls.
the offical asnwer is close to Mantrids.
Go read the manual ;P
Bwahaha.
A classic.
No, bacterium.
Either that, or the game's code.

true, but they got to get up there first <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
(it was just a joke on account of the flapping animation barely ever playing) <!--emo&::lerk::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/lerk.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='lerk.gif' /><!--endemo--> <!--emo&::lerk::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/lerk.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='lerk.gif' /><!--endemo-->

The reason the flapping animation rarely plays is because people only need to flap 1 to 3 times to get up to full speed. They glide most of the time. Duh

mmmmmmmm, true, but as far as i am aware, the lerk animation is very buggy, maybe i don't know enough about it. (also when gliding it looks weird)

You are unfortunately correct - visual glitches occupy a low fixing priority, though.
