<b>'My Pretty, Pretty Teapot.'</b>

In MPPT, you will play various tea-related objects and battle in a furiously-paced, high-adrenaline environment. MPPT is a new genre known as the RTFPCBS (Realistic Tactical First Person Cafeinated Beverage Simulator). We believe the days of the boring 'plain jane' FPS are done, and the time has come for something truly revolutionary. Some of our features include:

*Class-based - play as saucers, teacups, kettles, and more!
*40-50 realistic weapons - silver spoons, sugar cubes, scones, etc.
*Lace doilies - with intricate patterns!
*And more!

So be sure to get on the bandwagon, and give MPPT a hearty new welcome. We leave you with our new mascot, Chad the tea bunny.

Late breaking news! We have managed to finish our first render, and we think it's a doozy. Here's a shot of the newly-designed 'tea turret'; more over at PHL. This shot was done in our heavily modified Daikatana engine.

Right, anyways.

I'm leaking some information here (don't kill me MonsE), but you didn't hear it from me:

1) Character names will include "Lipton", "Long Island Ice", and, yes, even "Earl Grey"
2. Death animations will involve someone drinking you!  Sooo fun.
C. At the end of the round, the wining team sits down and sips tea quite civilly, if you count using fingers for stirrers and corpses for chairs civil.  Sooo sweet.

I am currently converting my map Space Station Nothing to further reflect the new theme of the mod. It is now entitled "Stove Top Nothing", and will feature all the latest in modern cooking technology. I plan to incorporate usable burners, blinking lights, and a working timer. Due to the open nature of the map, r_speeds may get a bit high in some places... Don't say I didn't warn you.

Ken is our new lead mapper, as Relic25 demanded to make a level called mppt_decaf and we just couldn't see it working out. Merkaba, being British, was of course onboard from the start. His new level seems to be something about Boston and Indians and the Colonies; not sure exactly, but he sure mumbles under his breath about it a lot.

Also, the Readyroom will soon be undergoing a DNS change to 'The Russian Team Room', and Ken's hosted site will now be known as 'The Art of Darjeeling'.

The second shot?  Why that's just one of the many different possible personalized characters available.  Yes, that's right!  You can completely customize your character.  (Again, you're not hearing this from me.)  The many categories include pot color, cap color, spout length, handle type, discharge method (you know, you press a lever to open the spout cover and what not), and even, brace yourselves for this one, an entirely customizable, user defined doilie for your teapot to rest on (MonsE was only hinting at the possibilities with this last one in his initial mission statement).  Imagine the possibilities!  Scratch that; you can't!  Know why?  Because they're endless!!

And don't even get me started on gameplay possibilities!  There's the "traditional tea bag vs. modern stick in a plastic wrapper that has little holes in it" mode, then the "cream vs. sugar" mode, and even a "hot vs. iced" mode!  Pick your side and duke it out Ye Olde English style!  You'll never want to touch another mod again.  (Just think!  An actual reason to go out and buy Daikatana! )

I've managed to hack into the NS's team's picture database, and lo and behold this marvel!  They weren't kidding when they said players were fully customizable!  Check out this shot of the new Sniper Pot!

Will the pots be able 2 use radiocommands? Or will they use morse code with their build-in wistles, or will they use smokepuffs comming out of their spout for communication?

Anyway, Work on ST Nothing is progressing along nicely... Who's for a fully functional microwave on the nearby countertop? Perhaps a boiling pot of water?

I think we should name the smallest teapot "Bob"!!! That would be so COOL!

And there should be a level-2 pot that can spit out tea and then the stains will make all the other teapots more steamy-powerful!!!

And then theres always the level-5 kettle with his "primal whistle" that boosts all the teapots stats temporarily! **tooOOOOoooot**!!

Can I get a alpha release of MPPT?? Pleasssee!!? And is there gonna be a mappers release for the teapot mod?

I believe Mole has almost finished modeling the sugar tongs. These deadly devices are able to hurl a lump of deadly sucrose distances of up to 12 centimetres! I beleve the "Tea leaf strainer" is next on the agenda, able to remove annoying leaves from your teammates! Move over TFC healthkit!
