Cl.dll's Problem = 4 Months Now

Every time i try and join a server, it says something like, "your cl.dll's[cl.client] differs from the servers... i have re-installed N.S. over 5 times now, and am pretty fed up. Any suggestions?

Dammit why didnt anyone else tell me that now that ive reinstalled ns for the 13th time and h-l for the 4 the time i get some help. But not on my posts

because this issue has been dealt with many times before. also it seems noobs like you have recently spammed the board with this problem.

its simple, your version is old, get the new one. the WEBBED topics tell you what to do before you post, like searching

No, your wrong it isnt because he has the wrong version installed. I've had this problem for a while now. Random times in NS it chrashes onto the desktop and when i try and connect to a server it comes up with 1 of many boxes e.g You Client.dll differs from the server (or summat along those lines) or you (enter map name).bsp differs from the server.

My error doesnt seem as serious as some of the others as I can get my NS to work again just by restarting my computer.

and No, I defently have not got the wrong version installed... ive been playing this game sice 1.x days i stay up waiting for the updates to come out and i think i know when i have the right version installed and i also think these people know when they have the right version too.

Sure you installed beta 4 to the right spot? (not the nsp folder... to the half-life folder (IIRC))
