<div class="IPBDescription">couple of Q's</div> Yo
I was wondering how to make a custom spray.
I got wally (a wad editor) and know how to use that np.
Erm just wondering what file I replace in Steam, cus I only just started using it and I have no idea where the files are or where I put the spray.
Any advice would be cool

For standard HL decals:
Save a file as 64x64 pixel greyscale bmp and place it in your "logos" folder.
White => transparent
Black => spray-color
the other grey parts are something between it <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->
(hope I got everything right here <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo--> )

any idea where you put those sprays when using steam?
i much prefer those to the other colour sprays
tempdecal.wad is correct <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
The file you replace is tempdecal.wad in the ns folder in steam
When you replace this file and spray it appears to work, however no one else can see it (I know cus my bro on the same server couldnt see it)
And he said something about deleting a load of files somewhere to make it so that other people can see it, unfortunatly he forgot which ones to delete so if anyone knows it would be like maximum respect!
After you install the color spray, it will take a while untill the server recognizes it, and until then, it will be displayed as a small orange lambda.
it will take a little bit to overwrite it, but the server should recognise it . most anoying thing is you may have to keep overwriting it . i made a bat file to automatically do it for me <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
