3ds Max Question

<div class="IPBDescription">boolean?</div> i went and looked at the boolean tutorial and i think i got it down, but i cant seem to find the boolean modifier. i looked through the modifier list and through the bar at the top and i cant seem to find it. is it a plugin or am i blind?

    ok, you click on "obects"... by default it'll be things like box and taurus and stuff... and there is a little drop down menu... there will "complex, compound"... and so on.

    what we want it compound... we have to have one object selected, ane be out of editable mesh/poly... and it'll light up saying we can select it.

    ah thanks del, and boy howdy people werent kidding about how it can send poly count up. went from 600 to 4000, just by adding a barrel with holes in it.

    also, turn edge is something you'll want to get familliar with...

    the original TF was made in max, and i can optimize ~100 poly out of it with nothing but turn egde...
