Reset Func_tracktrain?

is there anyway to reset func_tracktrain in a combat map. my map co_minecart involves two minecarts running parallel w/ each other. i can reset them if their moving because they'll hit the dead end (starting point, like a retrigger) somewhat, because once it reachs the end it goes back to the other (or if in reverse to the start). but say one was moved a certain distance and left in the middle and not moving (very unlikely to happen in game, but still), than im screwed. any ideas?

i tried trigger_random but failed, i've never used that entity before so im not sure how correctly i used it (set triggers all to 0 basically and targeted my train with it only working on game start).

    Well I have never used vehicles/train entities yet, but I would think that you should have it go in a loop. Plus it will me mean more fun for the players.

    well it does go in a loop stop 1 then stop 2 back and forth. but its not a func_train with a button, their is a func_traincontrols so a user controls the speed, so if its not moving how do you move it back. i got it so u need to wait at least a minute to 2 minutes to join again after a round depending on the position of the losing cart. however, if some one leaves the cart off in mid territory it fails to work for another round of play.
