Can A Model Have 2 Skeletons?

For example, the big armored suits with people in them, do they just have one skeleton? They proabably just use one and move with the suit but i was wondering if you can have 2 separate skeletons (such as a person sitting in a suit where he doesnt have to move). If not could i just take the model of the person and remove the skeleton and just stick it in the suit with no animation (doesnt really need any)?

It can have as many skeletons as you want, but models for say, the HA, just have one. Why? Because that model doesn't exist with that character anymore(until he/she dies). So just use one skeleton.

I meant like the landmate. But anyway, what i want to do is put the light marine into a big suit. He will be sitting down and he doesnt really move, because he has hand controls that move the suit. So I wanted to put a normal skeleton on the guy and a new one on the suit so that the guy could be moving his hands and stuff to make it look like he is doing something.

I was wondering if there'll be any problems running it in NS.

its possable, just deselect the joint and pop in a new one, new skeleton <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

BUT its best off to have a starting joint and just have one big skeleton so you can make the whole model bob up and down
