    Thanks guys.. hope everything will work out well. The mesh probably isnt the easiest to uv-map. I promise to do my best in simplyfinging my meshes in the future (without loosing detail though).

    I have it detached into 145 groups of polygons so far, just have the buttstock to do.

    Time to arrange all the groups now.

    How does this look for the skinmesh of the grenade holder?

    EDIT: BTW, it's almost 5:00am here, so i'll arrange the rest of the mesh tomorrow.

    aehm guys

    please dont make so many 512x512 maps the engine will cry like a baby and this skin mesh looks like that the grenade holster part is very highpoly 8)

    It is high poly. it the part of the gun who will be seen most as it rotates etc.during animations. it supposed to be round so I dindt want it to be built of cylinders with less sides then 12-16.

    dont people want it 512x512 so when they skin it, and drag it into a 256, it looks a bit better?

    the engine <b>can</b> handle it
