I think xeno at least takes some real skill to use properly. Part of that is that you need to learn how to use leap well. At the points in the game where skulks have xeno, most marines are powered up enough that they have a fair chance of killing a skulk in one or two shotty shots, so getting more than one rine is not easy.
Good xenos usually require: carapace celerity leap and most importantly: scent of fear (so you can see where marines are bunched up so as to max your kills)
Even then, timing when you should start the xeno (too early and you'll never reach the target, too late, and you'll get blasted before you go off), and then trying to leap properly without getting stuck on walls or structures, takes a fair bit of practice.
The ultimate xeno is when you kill a couple of marines, but one random marine dies of an unknown cause.
That's him being thrown so hard by your xeno that he smacks into the wall and dies from impact. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
To me zeno is the marines gl. I would say, however, zeno does take more skill and if too many people use zeno(especially bad players) the respawn list fills up fast. Its awesome for thoughs base camping rounds. 7 marines in base by each other. BOOM!!!
I've rape the hive all by myself, a lone jpers. I've even weld all the web in the mid-air, the only time you can't weld it is that if the web is diagonaly.

Because you didn't lock the chamber back into place.

I have to agree, the changing of stats in CO is making NS crud. Sure, over time AR does the same damage as it used to, but sometimes fades don't have the half an hour to AR that base structure... Charge has almost always been fairly useless since 2.0, webs... Oh, webs, I'll rush through, get them all and be out in two seconds while you heavies own the aliens... Xeno is still about the only skill that is usefull at H3. Otherwise, aliens secure the third hive just to keep the marines from having a spot to phase in from. They don't really bother about who puts it up since when you get H2 and have heavy life forms, that's it. Just keep most of the rts up, save for evolving again and own the marines as they come. H3 is almost completely useless, even with JP rush. At least umbra has been fixed somewhat, even though either the duration needs to be jumped up by .5-1 seconds or the adrenaline cost reduced by like 10% or something. Two sprays from a regular lerk with no adrenaline upgrade or MC nearby and they're out...

If you are, that takes skill. You have to get at the right spot, initiate it at the right time so yu explode in mid-air and then press jump, and leap and pray you don't stick to anything you don't want to (You can hold crouch, but you'll still clip the wall and get pzowned) and then hope you don't get shot in mid-leap or initiated too late... Yeah, that's easy aint it, just like leap biting someone three times without dieing...
if you dont have webs in CO how the @!#$ are you going to kill jpers, or prevent a mass jp rush from trampling all over the hive? you gotta be a pretty good fade to be able to take down jps in mid-air.
God forbid the Gorge is anything but a hive healing ****.
If you don't like web buy a nade launcher or a welder.
But then again people who complain about web are probably the same ones who complain about nobody welding the comm chair when they aren't level 10 yet. Buy one, weld it yourself, sacrifice for the team.
