How Can I Disable Chat Text?

<div class="IPBDescription">Middle of the screen is annoying.</div> IS there a cvar or something I can do to disable Text Chat? I cant stand not being able to see what I'm shooting at from the text. <!--emo&:angry:--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif' /><!--endemo--> Microphones are good enough.

Found the cvar. FYI it's

hud_saytext_time 5

change 5 (default) to how many seconds you want to see the text. I use 1 and works great!

you know i was about to post the same thing.

i know theres a variable to change the position of the net_graph, so there must be one for text. in cs its at the bottom of the screen which is nice as it doesnt obsceure your view.

i was on YO server today, and a couple of guys were non stop chatting. the amount of times i died cos i couldnt see from all the text was stupid.

argh someone reply to this cos tis mega annoying. one of the devs must know the command.

if not, in the future releases of NS make the text at the BOTTOM, not middle.
