I just got through a load of races. And this is fun. Really fun.
Was on the same server with Sonic, Lyndak and some dev named Denzil, trying to beat that dev, heh, he was good. I had a 29ms ping so lag wasn't noticeable at all, but the fps hit me hard. Went down to about 11 or sowith lots of cars around. Still fun though. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I just got a 1:05.12 track record on an outdoor map... I think it was ab_natureroute
I'm pretty horrible at it <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
But the game is quite solid! I didn't know the half-life engine was capable of this thing called "<i>physics</i>" <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
I like the mod but there are some things that can be fixed..
My comp is high quality, 2.8 ghz etc.. But every now and then i get about 5fps..?
Skidding is too easy and their are some maps which are almost IMPOSSIBLE.. Summit for example, tried so many times to do it everyone had trouble until ONE time 3 of us.. oddly.. completed it. Could'nt do it again tho.. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Yeah, some of the maps are pretty brutal as far as requirements go. I call it a challenge. (:
And yeah, Dunsby hax.
As for going through other cars: yep, you do. Frankly, given the FPS issues I think it's for the best that you don't have each other to worry about as well as the environments. Some of the maps have transparent trees, too (e.g. Mistress). Rule of thumb that seems to work: if the tree's 2D, you can drive through it. If it's got a 3D trunk, I'd advise going around.

neko, you very well may possibly be God. Test your powers by imagining a wall away while running at said wall very quickly.
