Steam Crash, Computer Restart

<div class="IPBDescription">when starting up NS on steam</div> Ok, posting this for a friend.

When he starts up Natural-Selection on Steam, his computer just restarts. He's been using Steam with NS and has had no problems running it since 3.0 beta went public. So yeah, basically it just started doing this out of the blue.

Umm I don't his computer aspects other than it's Windows XP...

Any help would be great as we need him for a league match tonight...

Erm I got him to uninstall Steam and re-install it over the phone (took like an hour, he doesn't get this stuff very easily). In the end it somehow worked again although we have no idea what caused it still.


Umm I actually did get him to sign up also, he was going to post this himself but he was in a rush and said it gave him an error when he tried to post. I'm under the impression he cicked new poll instead of new topic... He does stuff like that...
