<div class="IPBDescription">Multiple Servers</div> How would i join gamesurge.net from quakenet.org WITHOUT perform list starting up on gamesurge AND staying on quakenet aswell?
Depends on your client. With mIRC use "/server -m irc.blahblahblah.com", with Klient i think it's the same, and HydraIRC it's "/newserver irc.blahblah.com", i believe.
Also, in the GUI of most IRC clients they have an option to connect to a server in a new window. I know mIRC, HydraIRC and Klient all do. Please take the time to look.

I'm sorry, i used to write scripts, hell, i spent the best part of a year writing and developing an mIRC script, and for what. Nothing. I don't use it nor do i want to use it.
Using such a bloated, worthless, script like that is absolutely useless. Find a good IRC client, and not only will it be easier to use and look at, you won't have to deal with the fact that all these mediocre scripts run on outdated mIRC versions.
I will <b>DEFINATELY</b> recommend you try out Klient. It's full of useful things, it's got a great layout and the most powerful scripting abilities in any IRC client.

I use Trillian. Very convenient if 1) You use multiple chat services (AIM, Y!M, MSN, ICQ, IRC are supported) 2) You have multiple usernames on any account, or connect to multiple IRC servers 3) You don't have a huge need for scripting in IRC
Streamlined, smooth, and simple, but still with a lot of really nice features. I'm quite happy with it.

I haven't changed because I am used to mIRC. It is the most widely used client so there is virtually guaranteed to be support for it anywhere. Besides, I have got it set up just the way I like it now, and, being a stubborn british b***ard, I don't like change.

Right down to the stubborn british **** bit. Then i downloaded Klient and i really can't go back to mIRC, hence why i use HydraIRC now. I'm not saying you should convert, or whatever, but it's got a 30 day trial, do give it a chance. This is probably the first bit of software i'm ever going to register over the net, because it really is worth it. And Fam, i see you, lerking at the bottom there.
