I Lag More Than My Bro

i live in same house with bro and i got cox internet and he has a horrible computer, my comp has 521 mb ram 2 ghz and 70 gb space and ati radeon 9200 its like 5 times better than my bros comp but when i play ns, he laggs less and i lag more(even in same servers) im thinking that half-life isnt made for ati and other cards? because when i had a crapy gforce 4 mx it lagged less and now my bro has geforce mx............ the only reason i can think of is that half-life doesnt work good with ati?

One possible explanation for your problem is Steam screwing up your rate setting. Try this:

1) Open Steam.
2) Click options
3) Go to the 'internet' tab
4) Select the correct internet speed.

3) RClick each game
4) Tell them to not Auto update
5) Repeate when evere you play each game.

seeing how as the only company I KNOW with that name is cox cable, I would say cable.
