I keep seeing this "Happy Birthday" message in the top center of my screen, what's that all about? Its been going on for days....

There's a ping thing to look for hidden aliens it costs 1 point in co_ maps but I was wondering.... How does it work, is it a one time use thing? Does it only work for t hat area or can I use it multiple times without spending points?

Why don't I see any servers that use VAC... I tried using Secure only but nothing comes up, is it because of being Beta?

Can you still see friendly hives on the alien hive sight... I can't seem to see them for some reason....

Happy Birthday: No idea
Ping Thing: (Called Scanner Sweep) Works everytime a cloaked alien is in range of you.
VAC: Vac anti-cheat is not supported by NS at this time. It will be in future versions.
Hives: I'm pretty sure Hives are no longer on hivesight anymore. They might be visible if you're close to them, but I'm not sure.

Scan does not occur EVERY time a cloaked alien is within range; only a percentage. I've been taken by cloaked skulks even with the Scan upgrade.

btw, on large games, MT is far more useful if you must take an "Intel" upgrade at all.


NB: Some graphics cards have a problem with cloak, and display the cloaked alien quite simply as a lighter area of it's background. Thus when I kill you, it is not a HACK, it is just my crappy card.
