The idea is simple, destroy the ships by exploiting weaknesses
in their design. (Look for "limbs" to destroy entire sections.)
Things start to get tricky around level 11 when the ships give you
very little room to navigate.

Controls:
======
Z - Fire (Hold It Down)
X - Decrease Ship Speed (Hold It Down To Help Dodging)
D - Radar Type Thing (Takes some practice but its extremely handy!)

Have fun, let me know what you think and what kind of scores
you hardcore players are getting.

    Furthest i've got so far is stage 13. Best score so far is 5,646,100. Not that high yet. That score, however, is from my second place and i only got to level 11. I edited the .ini file to edit my #1 score (the stage 13 one), but now i can't remember the score. It was 6 mil or so. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Nice to see you lot are enjoying this little game <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    I <i>think</i> that you can send the .rec files to others
    for them to view your latest recording. Just throw them
    in the \rec folder. They're like 2kb as well <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    I dont really understand how that radar-thingie works. I know it allowes you to shoot to different directions. When I use it, sometimes it turns and sometimes it doesnt when I move.

    Have you guys played games from Ville? I think Notrium was mentioned here, but I'm not sure...

    Usually I just allign it to face down if the ship is below me.
    Keeping the "Radar" path as narrow as possible will make sure
    that more of your shots hit home.
    It'll stop increasing/decreasing in size if you tap "D",
    allign it, hold "Z". Then just hit "D" again when you or your target
    has changed position.

    EDIT: I've attached my .rec file which I think gives you a good
    idea of how I like to use the "Radar".
    Simply extract them to your "/rec" folder in your main Warning Forever
    folder.

    Make sure to:
    A: Close the Game first!
    B: Back up your old .rec files if you want to go back and view them sometime.
    C: Laugh at my rather pathetic death as the final bullet scims my ships hull <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    It sucks that the enemy ship can boost and pin you so you're automaticly dead.
  • TestamentTestament Join Date: 2002-11-02 Member: 4037Members
    Haha. I made a very close escape that way. I was getting caught in a corner, I took out the arm, and shot out JUST before I was gonna be squished.

    Mmmm this is indeed a great game. Played it lots, I got quite a high score, but unfortunately, I can't post em up cause they're on my other computer. The recording are a really great part of the game, cause watching yourself dodge all those shots make you feel speshul <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Also, the enemy ship tend to boost to the bottom of the screen. Where, being that you can't aim, I have to wait until it comes into shot.

    When you hold down your fire button while the radar thing is on, it holds it's position so you can do strafing runs with it. When you move with the radar on, the radar will shift it's position according to your movement. I recommend going up to the edge of the screen for positioning the radar. Makes it easier to do so.

    Mess about with the .ini file? What are the numbers for your
    WndPosY and WndPosX ? (Mine read 132)

    If worst comes to worst you can always reinstall it. It's only 700kb.
  • LikuLiku I, am the Somberlain. Join Date: 2003-01-10 Member: 12128Members
    Mine Read:

    WndPosX=348
    WndPosY=244

    Is there a way to pause? Doesn't seem so.

    Quality site. All of these games have a nice sense of fluid motion.

    EDIT: <a href='http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~cs8k-cyu/index_e.html' target='_blank'>This site, not the one the originally posted game was on</a>
