Hey, those look pretty good. If I'm correct in asuming that that's the marine start, I would think it might be nice to add a small level of brightness. Since this area is "outside," it might be better to have it a little brighter, and save the dark, creepy lighting for the cramped inner corridors. But then, I don't expect that this room will see too much battle, so it's really your call. And the whole double level thing just rocks. Great job.
Well those shots are pretty dark, i can't tell what i'm looking at, but the layout seems fine. And maybe you could add some small lights on the side of that building, that area is outside, so you could add some small lights that way it's easier for the dropships 2 see the landingspot. Maybe have them blinking randomly, or in a fixed sequence?

notice on the site it said that while in-game, the darker lighting is better, and you can see fine. I'll probably do 1 more compile just to perfect things, but it's pretty much staying dark
Just to clear this up.... you -must- have three hives in your map. Not two. Not four. Three. You can't have anything but three hives in your map.

Listen, a mapper can put in 4 hives or 40 hives. It's the mapper's call.
But if a mapper wants his map to become an official, "distibuted with the mod" map, he's going to need it to only have three hives.

Moleculor, not everyone is working towards official map status. If Tzar is, he'll probably make his map 3 hives. If he'd rather be in an unofficial map pack, he'll probably keep his 4 hives.

layout: i'm not sure if u realise but Flayra did say a while ago that its 3 hives compulsory, not 4.
correct me if i'm wrong here but i'm 99.99% sure
However, he has said that 3 hives is very strongly recommended for a map to have a chance at becoming official.
So yeah, it might be advantagious to lower the number to three, but it's ultimately the mapper's call.
but then you miss out on the fact that it's named NS_shaddow.
